New Bendigo Hospital
Infocus Food Safety was engaged by Spotless Services in August 2015 to develop a HACCP based Food Safety Program for the new Bendigo Hospital. Announced as the largest regional hospital development in Victoria, the first major stage of this project was to develop a HACCP Program for the ‘transitional period’ (transition from the old hospital kitchen to the new cook chill production kitchen). Part two of the project was development of a revised HACCP Program once the new hospital fully opened at the end of January 2017. The new Bendigo Hospital successfully achieved HACCP Certification in 2017 (certified by BSI Group -JAZANZ accredited). Infocus continues to support and work onsite at the hospital on a monthly basis facilitating HACCP Team meetings, undertaking internal audits, delivering staff training and providing general HACCP support and advice.
